one20above is the passion project of Sydney based photographer James Doherty. Not content with suffering lockdown within the confines of bland walls, we aim to brighten your space and mood with modern photographic works from around Australia and the world. Whilst the focus is aerial photographic work capturing landscapes from above, there are also a range of classic terrestrial photographic works.

one20above is a celebration of this great wide land, a reminder that there still are a wealth of incredible places to explore whilst international borders are closed, and an inspiration to dream about a time when the freedom to travel is once again unbounded by borders. 

James Doherty is a Sydney based photographer, occasionally a surgical registrar and a full time gear freak. Whilst he cut his teeth in the industry as a wedding photographer and commercial cinematographer, landscape photography has always been a passion. Over 18 years as a photographer he has travelled the world with a keen eye for details in the ever changing landscapes.

With drone technology maturing, and the ardent support his collaborator, creative director and location scout Natalie, no longer is landscape photography earthbound.
